No 5. jūlija līdz 16. jūlijam pie mums veikborda klubā “Promobius” notiks kārtējā treniņnometne, kuru vadīs profesionāls veikborda treneris no ASV - Adam Dennis (tie kas izmantoja izdevību iepriekšējos gados, vairs nav jāpārliecina).

Adams ar veikborda trenēšanu profesionālā līmenī nodarbojas jau 10 gadus un trīs sezonas viņš ir strādājis par instruktoru vienā no respektablākajiem veikborda klubiem pasaulē - The Wakeboard Camp, kas atrodas Floridā (www.wakeboardcamp.com). Savu instruktora kvalifikāciju viņš ir paaugstinājis tieši Ben Greenwood un Kyle Schmidt vadībā, kuri ir pazīstami arī kā video apmācības 'The Book' autori.

Savukārt brīvajā laikā Adams darbojas kā mākslinieks un grafiskais dizaineris. Pazīstamajai veikborda dēļu firmai Liquid Force 2008.gada kolekcijā viņš ir radījis dizainu Ben Greenwood pro modelim 'The Witness'.

Adams vadīs 2 nedēļu nometni, kur 1 nedēļa/sets sastāv no piecām dienām - no pirmdienas līdz piektdienai. Nometnē katram dalībniekam dienā paredzēts līdz 20 minūšu braukšanas laiks Adam Dennis pavadībā, kā arī videoinstrukcijas un nodarbības uz batuta.

Viena nometnes treniņa nedēļa/sets izmaksās LVL 160.00 (5x20 minūtes braukšanas + krasta nodarbības).

Pēc individuālas vēlēšanās būs iespējams pasūtīt arī divus vai trīs braucienus dienā.

 ”My name is Adam Dennis and I'm originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. I have been wakeboarding since 1995. Since then, the sport has brought me on many great adventures.

I coached at The Wakeboard Camp, in Clermont, Florida for three years. While I was there I was part of one of the best instructional teams in the world. We coached a wide range of people: from first time riders to many of todays top professionals, both men and women. I was very lucky to be able to ride with the other coaches and learn so much from them.

After I left Florida, I travelled to Turkey, where I taught wakeboarding on the Mediterranean and Aegean Seas.

Now, I live back in the U.S. where I operate my own wakeboarding school in Minnesota and California called The Academy. I organize and compete in regional competitions and rail jam contests.

My favorite invert to do is a tail grabbed back roll to blind, because it feels like you're traveling in so many directions at once, but the whole trick comes together at the last second before landing-the trick feels very fluid.

To me, the greatest thing about teaching wakeboarding is the expression on a student's face after they've just accomplished something that they thought was impossible, and knowing that I helped them too achieve their goal!

When I'm not on the water, I spend my time as an artist. You can see some of my work in the 2008 Liquid Force line. I did the art for Ben Greenwood's pro model, The Witness. I've also just completed the art for Keith Lidberg's 2009 pro model for JSTAR Wakeboards.”
